Spin-out Technologies & Projects

RESERVOIR has developed and enhanced a number of Open Source spin-out technologies.

  Telefonica I&D (Research & Development) has developed Claudia  for publishing Service Management components.
The   Complutense University of Madrid has evolved OpenNebula, the most advanced Open Source toolkit for building private, public and hybrid clouds.
IBM and   SAP  have contributed to the community dedicated to Kernal Based Virtual Machine, or   KVM for short.

RESERVOIR has paved the way for new European projects that are building on the development of breakthrough technologies by focusing on areas such as VISION Cloud for storage and Optimis for high-level Cloud management. Three projects are driving forward the development and deployment of OpenNebula. By supporting Open Source, Open Standards and fostering continuous industry investment, RESERVOIR has demonstrated its Return on Investment for the European Union.
